BEAT ASSIGNMENTS AND PRESS CONFERENCES

To all my students in Intro. to journalism:

Since I was not around today in our class, because I have suffered from gastro entiritis (my doctor said), I need to update you to our upcoming activities, events and press conferences to attend.

(1) Tomorrow at 2pm, in ST Theater you are all required to attend the CHOPIN'S Bicentennial Celebration. You will all be excused to your succeeding classes.

(2) On December 3rd, there will be a Transport and Entry Summit, at the Philippine Social Science Center(Philippine Social Science Center, Commonwealth Ave., UP Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines P.O. Box 205, UP Post Office, Diliman, Q.C. 1101). This event will be attended by different Government Officials and Mayors of different cities. *I will be announcing the 2 participants of each intro. to journ classes who will be attending the press conference at 2pm.

NOTE:

For Chopin's event, you only need to take note of the story in that specific event, and wll then be discussed in the class.

For the press con, let me remind you all, that all of you need to attend a formal and professional press conference, but then there will be only two representatives each class in each presscon. The output that will be submitted to me will be recorded for the final grading.
